I wish to introduce Dilana Carpets.

Dilana Carpet are machine made while Dilana Rugs are hand crafted originals or limited edition textile art forms.

It is a natural progression for us to explore the properties and function of the finest quality, wool-rich machine made carpet. This in turn gives our contributing fine artists the opportunity to design large scale or fitted carpets for a wider range of interiors.

Our contributing artists, now experienced with the collaborative process of producing hand crafted textile imagery, are creating new concepts reflecting their individual styles specifically for the mechanical process.

Congratulations to Michael Reed and Kate Wells for their efforts in designing our first carpets, “The Dilana Tapistron Runner Collection”. Also a special thank you to Carpets International of Thailand, the manufacturers, who embraced the project from design through to finished product. Their expertise and advice was invaluable in enabling our ideas to live up to our expectations.
